Healthy Whipped Coffee Recipe

Have you seen whipped coffee trending on TikTok or Instagram? Also known as Dalgona Coffee, this delicacy originated in Korea and is SO easy to whip up at home (pun intended!) but looks like a work of art.

 

Why is Whipped Coffee trending?

It's incredible easy to make but looks super impressive at the same time and takes very few ingredients. What's not to love?

All you need is 3 ingredients... for a healthier version here's what we recommend: Mushroom Coffee, your sweetener of choice (like honey or coconut sugar), and a splash of your favorite milk (we prefer plant-based!).

Step 1: Whip It Good

Start by whisking together a scoop of instant coffee (we used our mushroom coffee), half a teaspoon of sweetener (we used coconut sugar), and 50ml of hot water until it forms a thick and creamy consistency. This may take a few minutes by hand or you can speed things up with an electric frother, don't be afraid to really get in there and whip it!

Step 2: Froth it Up

Next, we added ice cubes and oat milk on top of our whipped coffee mixture. Give it a good stir to combine the flavors and watch as the frothy goodness comes to life before your eyes.

Step 3: Sip Back & Enjoy!

Finally, sit back, relax, and enjoy. You've made the viral whipped coffee! Sip and savour every mouthful and wow your friends next time you offer to 'whip' them up a morning cuppa.
