Other mushroom producers grow their mycelium on cooked, sterilized grains (rice, oats, sorghum,etc), however they do not separate out the grains from the mycelium in the final product. Coffee acidity levels are measured on a pH scale. At Cuppa we strive to provide the best tasting ingredients in every cup. For the coffee acidity, it depends on the type of coffee, length of roasting, temperature of roasting and brewing methods. Most coffees have a pH between 4.8 (high acidity) and 5.10 (low acidity). Our Cuppa’s pH is at 5.17 providing a low acidity cup of coffee that balances out the bitter flavors that can be associated with coffee.

We’re using organic certified mushrooms and ashwagandha, and our coffee is non-GMO and tested for pesticides, heavy metals and toxins to ensure we’re meeting the highest standards for purity and safety. We’re currently working on getting our organic certification for our coffee and will share as soon as we have that!
